Woodplumpton St Anne's Church of England Primary School is pleasantly situated in the centre of the village of Woodplumpton. The school is also located in the Parish of St Anne's, Woodplumpton. The building displays some of the traditional features of the village school, particularly from the outside, but also incorporates a pleasant and roomy four classroom extension. Thus it enjoys the benefits and comforts of the modern school building. To add further to the variety of subjects covered in class time, there are extra- curricular activities which provide for more specialised interests. These mainly take place out of usual school hours. They include art club, music groups, dance and drama. It is active in sport. It takes part in football, skittleball, rounders, swimming and athletic events.
