Background:

Tarleton Holy Trinity CofE Primary School dates from 1897. The original buildings have many of the traditional features of a village school. More recent extensions have provided the school with a new entrance and office, modern classrooms, a library, kitchen, a large school hall and extensive playing areas. There is a continuing programme of building development. The school is conveniently situated close to the centre of Tarleton village and next to Tarleton Holy Trinity Church. Tarleton is an established village community that is developing rapidly. The local community is very active. The school offers broad curriculam, including French taught at KS2 by a specialist teacher. Our pupils have opportunity to play violin, guitar and brass instruments. The school has clubs for running, football, sport, choir, computers, drama, maths, book club and birdwatching.The school belongs to two established learning networks, working to extend opportunities for the pupil's learning. It is an Eco School, and past of the Global Schools initiative. Tarleton Holy Trinity C of E Primary School aims to educate the children in a sincere, caring and Christian way and developing a moral and spiritual awareness; providing teaching based on Christian beliefs, attitudes and traditions, especially those of the Angelican Church.
