Background:
The school was created in 1994 by the amalgamation of separate infant and junior schools. 'Spacious' grounds surround the school, and consist of playing fields, landscaped and play areas. The school prides itself on its 'strong sense of community' and parental involvement is given a 'high priority'. There are parental workshops and a specially developed parents room is used to host a variety of events. Children and parents are involved in a 'wide and varied' range of fundraising and community activities. The school reflects Christian values in all areas of school life and provides a caring environment in which each child is seen as an individual.
