St. James' is a Voluntary Aided Primary School serving the Parish of St. James. The school caters for children aged four to 11 and is pleasantly situated in two buildings on the one site. The Governors and teaching staff of the school are totally committed to the creation of a stimulating and caring learning environment. The educational, moral and social development of the individual child is the priority concerns in the work of the school. A commitment to excellence in achievement for children of all abilities is fulfilled through the provision of rich and varied learning experiences.
