Background:
St Brendan's is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided School with pupils, aged five to 11. There is a playgroup attached to the school and also a before and after-school care club. St Brendan's was opened in 1966 in a modern building, which is semi-open plan in Key Stage 1. It has four classrooms in Key Stage 2 and a large hall used for physical education, assemblies and school masses and dining. A wide variety of extra-curricular activities are offered in school including: cricket, football, netball, fencing, gymnastics, hockey, tennis, athletics and cross-country.
