Background:
The present Euxton St Mary' RC Primary School building was erected in 1965 and has recently undergone major external refurbishment. The school is set in spacious grounds, shared with Euxton CE Primary School, next to woodlands in the large village of Euxton. Euxton St Mary's has close links with the parish, community and local businesses. Extra-curricular activities include football, skittleball, cross-country, drama, chess, French club and perpatetic music lessons. The PTFA raised #11,500 for children's resources this year.
