Background:
St Patrick's Catholic Primary School is a voluntary aided school. It was opened in 1969 for the parishes of St Patrick's, Holy Family, Westgate and St Bernard's, Overton. A number of clubs and activities are available at lunchtime or after-school. These may include recorder group, art club, choir, football, netball, swimming, athletics etc. Children also have the opportunity to go on various educational visits. The school was awarded the Basic Skills Quality Mark award for the quality of planning, teaching and assessment of the Basic Skills. The school aims to make a special place of learning, full of love, where everyone can feel safe, happy and cared for.
