Background:
Dolphinholme School was founded in 1865. It has recently had extensive building work done - double glazing, new roof, new floor in juniors, ramps put in and a disabled toilet. It has a comprehensive ICT network with 20 PCs and six laptops, an interactive whiteboard and broadband.The school runs a breakfast club, pre-school and after-school club, art club, science club and various sports club depending on the season. The school operates a buddy system. It has team points and lots of time for play.
