Background:
Founded in 1849, the small village school is located on the outskirts of a larger town. The village children account for about a third of the intake, the remainder travelling from outside the area by choice. A full curriculum is offered and extra-curricular clubs include French, music, football, web-authoring and IT. An annual residential junior trip extends children's experience of outdoor activities and mixing socially with children from larger schools.
