Opened in 1976, this is a one-form entry school accommodated in a semi-open-plan building. It offers three eight classrooms, three large resource areas, a hall/gymnasium, television and music room and two new libraries. It stands in its own grounds with extensive playing fields and two tarmac play areas. The school has 'excellent' ICT facilities. It provides a range of extra-curricular activities and maintains a good relationship with the local community. Before and after school care is provided from 8am to 9am and from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
