Background:
Founded in 1868, the school is situated in Poulton-le-Fylde, a prosperous town in the Fylde/Wyre district. The present school building opened in 1962 and has since been extended and modified to accommodate increased numbers. The accommodation includes seven classrooms, an assembly/dining/PE hall; large asphalt playground, smaller paved areas and a large field. Extra-curricular activities include football, netball, skipping/gymnastics and French. Children raise funds for charity each year.
