Background:
Wilson's Endowed Church of England School was established in 1677. It is an infant and junior school. The present building was built in 1973 and has been extended since. There are four classrooms, a library and information technology suite. There is also a hall, which is used for assemblies, physical education, music, dinners, concerts and other events. The school is surrounded by attractive and spacious grounds with a playground and a large playing field. The children experience a wide range of physical activities during the school year. These include games, athletics, dance, gymnastics, outdoor activities and swimming. The school aims to create a happy, secure, environment, where everyone learns to care for each other, the school, and the community in which they live.
