St Mary's CofE Aided Primary School is an extended and renovated Victorian school founded in 1864, in Pennine village east of Oldham. The school is set in attractive surroundings with its own car park, turning circle, hard play area and extensive playing fields. The school community is served by a hardworking partnership between staff, governors, parents and children. It maintains strong links with church and local community and is involved in projects linking multi-cultural community of Oldham. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities throughout the year. These include French, cricket, football, chess, netball, athletics, ICT, recorders, rounders, choir etc. The school ethos are based on Christian values.
