Background:

Bare Trees Junior School is situated in pleasant grounds in north Chadderton on Holly grove between Eustace Street and Burnley Street. This school is two-form entry junior school, organised in pairs of parallel, unstreamed classes. The extra-curricular activities available to the children at various times during the school year 2003/04 were wind band, choir, the Year 3 singing group, Year 5 dance group, football, netball, recorder group, rounders, swimming, and computer club. At Bare Trees Junior School it is committed to treating and developing each child as an individual, recognising that children develop at different rates and in their own way, depending on all the different influences of home, school and society.
